Australia Day Picnic 2024 – Carss Park

Get ready to soak up the sun and fun at the Australia Day Picnic 2024! Join us on January 26th at Carss Bush Park for a fabulous free outdoor picnic.

Kicking off at 4.30 pm, this laid-back community event is perfect for the whole family. With a range of delicious food stalls, children’s activities, and a grand fireworks display over Kogarah Bay at 9.00 pm, it’s a celebration you won’t want to miss.

1. Dessert Dealer: Crispy fried ice cream, honeycomb waffles, churro bowls with various toppings and more.
2. Crepes Mademoiselle: Authentic French crepes filled with sweet or savory toppings.
3. Sydney Ice Cream & Coffee: Over 35 years of experience in event catering, specializing in ice cream, coffee, and more.
4. Smoke King Steve: Assyrian BBQ and smokehouse delicacies, including traditional shish kebabs and smoked meats.
5. Maru’s Kitchen: Mexican food inspired by traditional recipes, featuring lunch bowls and taco buffets.
6. Top Dog Food Trucks and Catering: Classic event fare such as hot dogs, burgers, loaded fries, and Pluto pups.
7. Too Cheezy: Freshly made, hand-tossed woodfired pizzas baked on-site.
8. Mr & Miss Pancakes: Mini Dutch pancakes with a variety of toppings.
9. Yiayia’s Honey Balls: Traditional Greek loukoumades, a sweet, crunchy treat.
10. Twist Chips on a stick : Potatoes spiraled onto a stick, seasoned and fried.
11. Citrus and Sugar:  100% natural lemonade with a unique twist.
12. Turkish Gozleme House: Traditional Turkish Gozleme.
