After a 3 year hiatus, The Block Party is back to transform Atchison Lane into a free, community event, presented by Brand X at the TWT Creative Precinct, St Leonards.
For one night each year, the public are invited to follow a trail through the TWT Creative Precinct studios to discover the creative ideas that are transforming the Lower North Shore, and experience a free program of exhibitions, performance, music and workshops for all the community.
This is an accessible, all-ages event.
Featuring the unveiling of our new laneway mural by Helen Proctor, roving performance by Erth, installations by Michaela Gleave, Aly Indermuhle, Thom Roberts (Studio A) and Jamin Tasker, performances by Doctor Robot, JustSo Creative, Jazz Workshop Australia, Nicola Heywood, Luke Abdallah and Ghosted.
Arts Markets by Bradfield Senior College, exhibitions at Working Dog Gallery and Gallery NWC, open studios at Wish Wing Studio, Arts Incubator and Me Art Space, free drawing and ceramic painting workshops, food trucks and DJ’s Norm de Plume & Ben Laden for Tunes with Taste at Cicli Spirito… expect the unexpected.
Located in St Leonards Sydney, across two blocks between Atchison & Chandos streets, TWT Creative Precinct has grown to house more than 70 artists and creative businesses from the visual, performing, music and film disciplines. Since opening in 2014, the precinct now offers over 4,500sqms of subsidised space to the local creative community.
